My interests lie in the route layouts and signalling of the North East of England, both modern day and historical. I'd like to try to document the various signalling layouts at North Eastern signal boxes over time.
I'm a newcomer to the Network Rail data feeds, and have been experimenting in integrating these with PHP and MySQL to access real-time signalling information for the Tyneside, Tees and Morpeth TD areas.
I'm also trying to build a pictorial documentation of bridges, infrastructure and signalling equipment for the main lines in the North East.
