I am a research associate at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, with my research focussing on Computing Systems Architecture. I have a heavy interest in railway signalling and I am a volunteer signalman & S&T technician for the Strathspey Railway in Aviemore.

I am currently developing http://scotrail-live.co.uk, to show live signalling diagrams, covering the Scottish rail network.
