Starting a coding project using NR and NRE data

Looking to work with the live departure board data from NRE (have API access) and using that with the NR feeds on train locations. In the future I am looking at gaining access to DARWIN but it requires a VPN at NRE which I currently can't afford and not looking to monetise anything I make.
