Line 1: Line 1:
<includeonly><span style="white-space: nowrap;">&#91;<i><span title="{{{date|}}}">dead link</span></i>&#93;</span>
<includeonly><span style="white-space: nowrap;">&#91;<i><span>[[dead link|Template:Dead link]] as of {{{date|}}}</span></i>&#93;</span><noinclude>

Very losely based on Wikipedia's, but since we've not got parsing extensions, there's only one parameter: date.

Remove a dead link tag if you find a correct new URL for a link, or if you're substituting with an archived (preferably on-wiki vs internet archive – you can upload files here if necessary) version.

Use in wikitext like so:
<nowiki>{{Dead link|date=2023-05-06}}</nowiki>

<span style="white-space: nowrap;">&#91;<i><span>[[dead link|Template:Dead link]] as of 2023-05-06</span></i>&#93;</span>

</noinclude>
