Overview

Network Rail have made several data feeds available under the Open Government Licence at http://datafeeds.networkrail.co.uk.

The feeds are:

  • Train Movements - train movement data compared to timetabled schedules
  • TD - train positioning data at signalling berth level
  • TSR - detail on Temporary Speed Restrictions on the network
  • VSTP - Very Short Term Plan train schedules
  • RTPPM - Real Time Public Performance Measure data
  • SCHEDULE - extracts of train schedules from the Integrated Train Planning System

Using the data

To make use of the feeds, you will need a Stomp client. Sample Code is available to help you get started.
