Call Code
Appearance
The Call Code is a single alphanumeric added to the TRUST 10-character train ID, dependent on the train's departure time from its origin. In combination with the first two digits of the STANOX, it ensures that - where a train reporting number may be reused several times in a day for a service from a particular location (e.g. the Stourbridge Town shuttle), that the TRUST ID for each train remains unique.
If a second train is called in the time period which would result in a duplication of TRUST IDs, then the TSPEED will be increment from M to N, O, A, B and then F to ensure the train ID is unique.
